This site is dedicated to
the small South American parakeet family
'Pyrrhura Conures'.
I have kept Pyrrhura Conures since,1994 and now specialize in breeding only pure forms of species & their sub-species.
The availability of many species has declined in captivity and there status in the wild is declining which is mainly due to there habitat being cleared for grazing & the logging industry.
They are a very interesting species to keep and breed, and I urge anyone thinking of taking up Pyrrhura Conures to only buy pure bred stock, before they totally disappear from our aviaries in their natural forms.
